Goose down comforter throws too many feathers everywhere, even with a duvet .. solution?
I bought a down comforter goose and a duvet cover, both at Macy's, both are top line quality products and my down comforter is shedding feathers like crazy and going through the duvet, which is supposed to be expensive and high-thread .. why is this happening and how can I keep the feathers out? I've heard of "fluffing" the Comforter, what is this, how can I do, and this applies to this situation? Thanks
Fluffing basically means simply pushing the sides together to make the ruffled feathers and make the quilt soft and fluffy. I have a feather duvet and feather also in every damn! I bought a mattress and put into this and then put the duvet, more than that. This has helped keep down in all feathers annoying! GL
